How long do you keep spreading ELIXER on the ball?

It seems to evaporate very quick when it's on the ball, like after about 2-3 seconds after touching the ball, it dissipears... so how long do you keep spreading and rubbing ELIXER on the ball?

About 30 seconds, 1 minute... longer???


Also, does it hurt anything if the ELIXER touches your skin? Should I be wearing gloves?

Ric - Depending on the coverstock the Elixir can absorb rather quickly.  If you are using your hand to spread the Elixir around just do it for about a minute.  Then wait about an hour before applying a second coat otherwise it will keep penetrating.  It needs time to dry and seal.  You should wash your hands immediately with soap and water as your skin will also become sealed.  It won't harm the skin though.

If you use a small piece of paper towel you will need to use another one if the towel dries.  Once the Elixir dries even Elixir can't Penetrate!!!
