I noticed differences on balls on the racks that are hybrid covers - they all kinda look different. Some look pearlier than the ones like the Hy-Road and Frantic, they look smoother blend of pearl and solids.
Are some hybrids come with more pearl than solid, or just the reverse?
Other "hybrid" covers seem to be "snappy" happy compared to my hy-road and crossroad.
Are hybrids all 50/50 blend? or just a mix ratio of pearl and solid materials.

I have a Freeze Hybrid. Black, Blue, Silver. It appears as if the blue and silver are pearl, while the black is solid. The Benchmark is 4 colors, only the silver is pearl. So hybrid can mean any combination or ratio. I believe these variables can make each hybrid a unique reaction. A blend that is more pearly would backend a little stronger than one with more solid. Add to that how the flare can move contact from a more solid part to a more pearl part and you can see how you can drill 3 of the same balls with the same layout and they react differently.

Some are 50/50. But, there are hybrids that are more solid than pearl and more pearl than solid. It will just depend on the specific line. If I remember right, I think the Storm Hy-Road is 50/50, the Nomad Dagger is more pearl than solid, and the Rogue Cell is more solid than pearl.

Rogue cell was 1/3 pearl, 2/3 solid @ 4000 abralon
And the virtual energy and infinite theory Were 1/3 solid, 2/3 pearl @ 1500 grit polished
It looks like the defiant soul is 2/3 pearl, 1/3 solid but at 4000 which is a hiybrid of the the hybrids! Im excited but its very ugly

I think just mostly the lowend storm/roto 1500 grit stuff is..hyroad, crossroad, frantic, rising star, nomad dagger, wrecker ...is garanteed to be the 50/50

Same here. With the 43 ft shot at my house, the Rogue Cell is usually the 1st out of my bag most nights.
