Title: Marvel Pearl Resurface
Post by: www300 on February 26, 2013, 06:29:52 AM
I have a Marvel Pearl I would like to bring back to OOB condition. Can some of you experts provide me a step by step process to do this. (I have access to a ball spinner if needed). Thanks.

Great information there Charlest. I haven't seen that before. I am going to both copy it as well a put it in my favorite places on my computer.

On a side note, I was a little surprised on the 30 seconds each side of sanding with a 360 degree pad and then light sand for only 5 seconds each side with a 1000 pad.

Short times with the 1000 is just knocking off some of the "peaks" and leaving the "valleys" :)

Yeah, I realize that as I do that some with a 500 pad but not pressing "firmly" though and followed very lightly for 15 seconds with a 2000 or 4000 pad, but what was surprizing to me is that the pressing on a 360 pad firmly for 30 seconds leaves some pretty deep grooves in ball. However, I will try that the next time in place of a 500  grit pad and see how it goes.
