Post by: Uncle Meat PT 2 on September 26, 2017, 10:42:27 AM
Hey all, was wanting to know aboutsome of the polishes out there that have slip agents in them. Using Storm xtra shine on a Wisdom, but want it to go a little further before it makes it's move. Any suggestions? Thanks
I may have posted on this topic before so please forgive.

The only one I know of, currently available,  is Vise Slip Agent polish.
All the others have been discontinued: Valentino's UFO, Neo-Tac's Control-It, Powerhouse's Delayed Reaction. They are no longer being produced, probably due to lack of interest and sales. You might find some in pro shops who are using up the last of their stock.

Yep was looking very recently and about all there is available other than Vise is Powerhouse Delayed Reaction from Germany on ebay and you are looking at well over $100 for 32oz with shipping.  I ended up using Rain X for plastics on my son's 6lb polyester ball but that is a big no no for anything sanctioned by the USBC.  Haven't tried it since applying it though.  Supposedly it lasts a lot longer than Vise which you have to reapply every or at least every few sessions and kills the hook even better but outside of open bowling only it is a bad idea.  I would never use it on a reactive either because who knows what it will do to the pores.  In fact don't use it on any ball unless you are fine with possibly throwing it in the trash.
