Neo Tac Ball Cleaners

I have been buying Neo Tac's Liquid Nitro ball cleaner ever since it came out.

I went to my Pro Shop last week to buy a new bottle of Liquid Nitro ball cleaner in the white bottle and he had a new "black" spray bottle from Neo Tac called "ball cleaner." When I asked for the white bottle of Liquid Nitro, he said they don't have it in the white bottle any more and this is the replacement. "Same stuff, he said." I bought the black spray bottle, took it home and poured some in a clear glass and I did the same for the Liquid Nitro. Well, the colors are different. Liquid Nitro is pink and this black bottle of ball cleaner is clear like water.

I went to Neo Tac's website, (http://www.neotac.com/) and there is no Email address to contact them and I can't call as I have a hearing handicap and cannot talk on the phone. Does anyone know what the difference is between these two cleaners? I sure hate to not be able to get the Liquid Nitro as I have tried just about every cleaner on the market and none come close to competing with this Liquid Nitro.

Does anyone know what the difference is between these 2 cleaners?

Does anyone know if the Liquid Nitro is still being made? Very-very strange for a company like Neo Tac not to have an Email address on their web site.

Brick: Your Pro Shop guy has it turned around. Actually, the product called "Ball Cleaner" in the black spray bottle is an older offering that has been replaced by Liquid Nitro.

So to be clear, it's not the same stuff -- Liquid Nitro is their new and improved offering. Somehow, your Pro Shop picked up some of the last of the old "Ball Cleaner" stock, and got some bad information at the same time.

I just called NeoTac directly, and they verified that Liquid Nitro is alive and well, and their only current offering in the straight ball cleaning category (i.e. "Ball Cleaner" is history).

Give your Pro Shop guy the real scoop and have him order the real stuff.

shows both products, Liquid Nitro and the Neo-Tac Ball Cleaner.  The ball cleaner is in a black spray bottle (4 oz), while the Liquid Nitro is in Neo-Tac's new bowling pin shaped bottle (6 oz).

Steven, thanks for the information. I'm overly glad that the Liquid Nitro is still available. I'm not picking on Pro Shop Operators on this site as some are very-very honest and good friends with me. However some Pro Shop Operators will lie to a person and knowing my operator, I'm sure he intentionally was untruthful with me.........I think that what probably happened is:...The distributor is probably trying to get rid of the old black bottles and gave the Pro Shop(s) a cut rate price. He is selling it at $5.95 a bottle and probably making extra money because he probably got it below cost. I think that he is also telling his customers (like myself) that the Liquid Nitro is no longer available so that they will buy the black bottles instead of waiting for the Liquid Nitro. I would have waited and used Simple Green while waiting had I known the truth. I think he knows the truth and did not pick up bad information, unless the distributor lied to him, which I doubt.
