Excuse me, but what does that for?
Your question was already answered. 400 grit (US) sand paper IS the base before polish.
May there be any other questions on mind which you haven't asked?

Indeed, pagnouch. There is no other answer.
If you have other questions ... Please ask them.

We can be rude? That's rich.
In any case, his follow-up says he doesn't believe Burak, virtually calling him a liar. I'm telling him that Burak is 100% right. I don't see that as rude. This isn't an opinion situation. It's a fact, there-is-only-one-answer type of situation.

We do not have a chance to tone the sentence or stress any specific word when writing. This is why we should be very careful when posting in such a forum, and that is why I think twice before I put one word in here. This one is also not an exception!
I really don't understand what makes you think we are being rude and which part of our posts you are referring.
I'd like to believe you were sarcastic, but anyway..

OK, I'll offer a second opinion here.
400 grit wet sand, followed by Brunswick Factory Finish High Gloss.
