Wet Sanding
« on: May 26, 2005, 05:07:23 PM »
I just had a question about the differences between wet sanding and regular sanding.  What are the advantages? disadvantages?
Just looking for more information on the subject
Thanks

I do not dry sand, won't. Every ball company, that I have ever read anything from, all states to resurface the ball, talks about keeping the surface wet as sanding.
I can not see putting the small 'dust particles' in the air, possibly breathing them, would have any benefit to me, my family or anyone who might be in contact with the air during a resurface. I can't see that those particles of 'dust' could be healthy for anyone or anything to breath.

Just MY opinion and I'm sure there will be several who disagree, but there's my 2 cents worth.

Good Luck.
