Using CABs on Spinners - Worthwhile?

Like the title says.  I just ordered the new Innovative 1/2 hp spinner and some Abralon pads to make it easier to tweak ball at home.  Is it worthwhile to buy a CAB or two to use with the pads, or can you do just as good a job by hand?  The CABs seem pretty pricey, but if they work better and are recommended, then I would get 1 or 2.

Lower grit CAB blocks do a good job of not making flat spots around holes on major resurfaces.  If you were to just use your hand and wet/dry sandpaper or a foam backed abrasive you'll end up flattening out areas around holes.

If you don't have access to a router or plug cutter for cutting down plugs they also do a good job of maintaining the balls contour after cutting those down with files.

If you're in a pro shop, doing this kind of stuff a lot, I can see the use of a CAB. I am not and I have a CAB for plain sandpaper and one for Trizact (they use opposite parts of the velcro).  and I've even stopped using them for the Trizact, mostly because I have to change the pads for different grits.

They're handy if you have one for each grit but at a minimum of $25 per and some places charge as much as $35 per CAB, that's way too expensive of an unnecessary accessory.
