It's only been half an hour since you first posted the thread.  Be patient.

I have no experience with Energizer cleaner, but Clean & Dull is THE best ball cleaner I've used.

energizer cleaner is just that a cleaner, it takes off oil and some grime. It has a orangey scent and does a decent job.

clean and dull, cleans and dulls a balls surface. it takes off beltmarks, oil, grime, and dirt. and kinda dulls a ball to get an earlier hook.

so energizer during a set, clean and dull after a set.

Energizer is a spray cleaner.  Clean n Dull is a gel.  Ebonite recommends Energizer as the cleaner to use immediately after bowling on their polished coverstocks while they recommend Clean n Dull on sanded covers.  To go a bit further into my experience with both products, I will say that either can be used just fine on both polished and dull covers.  Clean n Dull is more of a deep cleaner and doesn't need to be used after every set.  Energizer is a wonderful cleaner to use after bowling, and Clean n Dull say once a week or so depending on how often you bowl.  I hope that wasn't too confusing.

To clarify, C&D actually does not alter the ball surface.  It won't dull it down.  It will, however, look duller than it did before cleaning -- it will look the way it did before it got lane oil and grime all over it.  And if you use it on a polished surface, it will still be polished just like before.

I don't even know what you are asking here.  You wanted to know the differences between the 2 and we told you.  If you want to make the ball "hook" more then try adjusting the actual cover.  Cleaning will not make the ball hook more unless it hasn't been cleaned in a long time.

Ball Cleaner Showdown #1

Ebonite Powerhouse-Energizer Cleaner
-VS-
Ebonite Powerhouse Clean'N Dull
see photo here

Balls used in test-
Ball#1-A Track EMB with the coverstock freshly dulled with a green Scotchbrite.
Ball#2-A Ebonite NitroR2 Classic with the coverstock freshly Dulled to 600grit.

Ball condition at time of test-
Ball#1 was used for 3 games in a night Mixed league. After the league the ball was shiny with oil and a normal amount of grime & dirt. The ball sat for 30 minutes before cleaning.

Ball#2 was used for 3 games in a night Men's league. After the league the ball was shiny with oil and a normal amount of grime & dirt. The ball sat for a week before cleaning. The oil now had been absorbed and surface dirty.

Cleaning procedure used-(This was done without a ball spinner.)
Cleaner was applied to half the ball and allowed to soak in 30-45 sec. Then rubbed in by hand with a papertowel until cleaned and then allowed to dry. A 2nd application would be used if needed.

What was looked for from product-
Cleaning ability,Ball dullness and amount of tacky feel as compared to the fresh surface of the ball. Tacky feel is rated "No tack 1"-"5 Most tack"

The Results-
Ball#1-Energizer Cleaner was applied to the 1st half of the ball and it removed from the surface most of the visible oil & grime.
The coverstock had a slight shine to it and oil lines could still be seen in the track area. Tacky feel rated "2"
A 2nd application was used and a little more grime seemed to be removed. The coverstock still had a slight shine to it and oil lines could still be seen in the track area. Tacky feel rated "3"

Next Ebonite Powerhouse Clean'N Dull was applied to the other half of ball#1 and it removed all of the visible oil & grime. The coverstock dullness was returned to the freshly dulled condition. Also no oil lines were visible in the track area. Tacky feel rated "5". No 2nd application needed

Ball#2-Energizer Cleaner was applied to the 1st half of the ball and it removed from the surface most of the visible dirt grime.
The coverstock had a slight shine to it and oil lines could still be seen in the track area. Tacky feel rated "3"
A 2nd application was used and no more grime seemed to be removed. The coverstock still had a slight shine to it and oil lines could still be seen in the track area. Tacky feel rated "3"

Next Ebonite Powerhouse Clean'N Dull was applied to the other half of ball#2 and it removed all of the visible grime. The coverstock dullness was returned to the freshly dulled condition. Also no oil lines were visible in the track area. Tacky feel rated "5". No 2nd application needed.

see photo here

Conclusion-
Ebonite Powerhouse Energizer Cleaner is a good citrus based ball surface cleaner and is a easy to use spray. It removes most surface oil and grime. But does not draw out oil from the coverstock well (The visible oil lines left).

Ebonite Powerhouse Clean'N Dull is a excellent surface cleaner and is a easy to use gel.It removes all surface oil and grime and It draws the oil out of the coverstock very well. (No visible oil lines left).

Ebonite Powerhouse Energizer Cleaner makes a good quick to use cleaner, But Clean'N Dull is a better deep cleaner. Which would give the ball longer life do to the ability to draw more oil out of the coverstock.

A better spray cleaner would be Neo-Tac "Hook-It"

I have a nearly full bottle of Track Magic Clean n Dull,it's a green gel.Is it the same as the Ebonite Powerhouse Clean n Dull. Is it safe to use on polished reactive ball for cleaning?

Clean and Dull is a GREAT product with an inaccurate name. It does not change the cover of any ball. It deeps cleans any ball. It does not dull any ball. Follow the claaning directions do not just do what you feel like doing.

It is not an everyday cleaner, unless you use a dull ball and bowl on heavy oil everyday. Balls must be cleaned BEFORE you put them back into the bag, NOT when you get back home. C&D needs an applicator towel, a wet towel and a dry towel to apply PROPERLY this is difficult to do sitting in the settee area after bowling. Get a good every day cleaner and use C&D once every 3 - 8 outings, depending on how dull your ball is and on how much oil you bowl on. If you see oil lines on the ball that your everyday cleaner won't remove, either get a better every day cleaner or use C&D that day.
