I never tried using a chamois cloth to polish a bowling ball - they are much too expensive. Are the shammy clothes cheaper??

Inexpensive, cotton, terry cloth face towels seem to be perfect for cleaning, and polishing balls. These can be bought for like 24 for $10 and can be re-washed almost indefinitely for re-use.

I use a towel to apply the cleaner/polish then use an old 100% cotton t-shirt with the spinner.
