how hot is too hot
« on: July 20, 2015, 12:17:53 PM »
This year I've been leaving my stuff in the garage. All summer it's been averaging in the low 90's. We've had many days in the 80's and fewer days over the 100's. But, maybe that will change and get hotter. Today it's 100's.

Does a round object have sides? I say yes, pizza has triangles..

I wouldn't push it...your garage retains heat...

If you have a spot where you can keep them in your house. Keep them inside where it's temperature controlled

I've had a few crack at room temp and its just bad luck. I've seen many crack being left outdoors in cars ect.  Think of the swing in temps and the ball like concrete expanding and contrasting. I try to keep the changed to a minimal lol
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

I had three balls crack in the same year. V2 particle, Depth charge, and Mystic. All were really good balls. This is after I moved from the Pacific Northwest to my current HOT location. lol I had other storm balls crack too when I lived in Washington state. ER and diablo? the storm stuff  just cracks on me...

Storm replaced my Mystic with a horizon after over a year warranty. and sent me another ball before that when my ER truama also cracked ..."thunder"???? (I don't remember, it was wrong weight and traded it at the shop) . Storm recently replaced the ball cups in my 4 ball roller!!!

Storm C service is top notch!

Anyway, my stuff back inside the house. Thanks for advice...

Hot?  Did you move?

No, been here for 10 yrs or so. Within my first year in sac, those balls cracked. THis summer is "cooler" than other summers, yet we don't have much water lol

btw, you ever coming here with your wifey when she does her tennis thing?

Live in Florida, where it is hot.  Had three balls crack this past year.  Two (900G Black Eagle & Storm Tropical Heat) in the house and one (my wife's old Scout) in the garage.
However, I will always keep the balls I care about in the house vs. the garage even if I lived in a cooler climate.

I'm in NC and I've had three crack this year also. My aura mystic, ruckus, and endless nightmare. The endless was from being in the car on accident... The other two were actually on my ball rack! Make sure you don't set them near AC with direct sunlight...
