Layout for a Momentum?
« on: January 05, 2008, 03:58:32 PM »
Right now the only balls in my tourney bag are my two rivals and my resurgence and plastic. Bowled a tourney this past tuesday and did real well, but fell short of number one by a handful of pins. No missed single pins, but lost carry due to bad ball reaction. It was a longer format and in the later stages my ball reaction was to much in the front and midlane and I couldn't get far enough left, as the balls were too early. So I decided to pick up two momentums to get a better reaction farther downlane. Balls came in today, one's got a 4" pin the other has a 2" pin. Both have just over 3 oz. of top weight.

I'm looking for a reaction about as strong as my pin up rival but further down lane in the long pin momentum. And as for the other, I'm not really sure. I just picked it up before the prices increased, so I'll probably hold on to it for awhile. Style/axis/rev rate in profile. Thanks for the help.

With this pearl, I would really recommend going pin under. I have mine pin up and cg in the palm, and can I say it gets length? If I could re-drill mine, I would definatly go with pin-under as it would have an earlier read.
