I'm wanting to learn ...
« on: August 06, 2003, 08:44:42 PM »
Hey

I have been bowling for a long time, but just last year decided to join a league.  I averaged 199.9 with a Mark Roth Brunswick Urethane ball drilled to hook.  I just bought a new ball on the recommendation of a friend, a Hammer Blade Pearl.  I haven't even thrown it yet, but I hope it does me some good. I don't really know much about the drilling of the ball to aid in hooking or any of the terms associated with the ball and the way it is drilled.  I want to learn this to help with my game.  Are there some links that I could go to that
give a good overview of all these terms and techniques?

Thanks for the help.

Thanks Jbowl13,

That website had some nice visuals of drilling patterns and explanations of what they are used for.  Thanks again guys for the help.  Later
