Rico Question
« on: March 23, 2008, 05:25:16 AM »
I am a high rev player with medium speed. I throw mainly plastic and old urethane on beat up wood with light to medium conditioner. I think I am the only player whose average dropped 20 pins after reactives came out! They just flat out hook too much for me, except in tournaments outside of my home state where there is more conditioner.

Anyway, I was think of drilling 2 Plutos with the Rico drill and leaving one with a box finish and one polished. I have never purchased 2 of the same ball before, but was wondering if I would see a marked difference in them. I usually stay away from polish since while it gets down the lane, it overreacts on the back since all of the energy is stored.

I never tried Roto-Grip, and everything I read about the Pluto is positive.

Maybe a Pluto and Neptune drilled Rico?

Thoughts?

I can't comment on the Pluto but the Avalanche line from Brunswick is a good choice for your beat up house!! The old school core and the weaker cover make them VERY predictable.
