which points does one use to find their particular grip span?

also what do you do to find the amount of axis tilt u impart on the ball?

Grip spans are measured from the inside (closest to grip center) of the thumb hole to the inside of the gripping surface of the finger hole (including thicknesses of the grip, slug, and/or sleeve - if used).  Be sure to exclude any bevel on the holes.  These numbers are not necessarily the same as what the driller uses, since he's interested in the span of the raw holes before insertion of grips, slugs, sleeves.

Axis tilt is strictly dependent on the diameter of your initial track ring.  Several web sites have instructions on how to do this, buddiesproshop.com for one.  Go to their Tech section, first look at the instructions on how to measure track diameter.  Then go to the instructions on asymmetrical layouts for a chart that relates the diameter to tilt.  --  JohnP
