Has anyone seen balls crack when trying to hammer the slug in. I've seen a few here lately that has. Does anyone know what causes this......

The pro shop guy in my local house had this happen. It was a defective ball. He was tapping in the slug and the whole side of the ball crumbled--------------------
Hey, it might be slop but, it all looks the same on the scorecard!!!!!

I had that happen to a TPC Shooter, a while back. The driller ( not still in business) was a bit drunk and tried to put it in at an angle, hit it WAY to hard, but as I said, he's out of business now. Ebonite was 100% about replacing the ball with no problems at all, gotta love a company with that customer service !
