High Track: Drillings to AVOID??
« on: September 27, 2010, 07:04:08 AM »
Hey all.  I have a few people come to me and aske me about drilling for their new equipment.  1 is a Mission 2.0 the other is a Reign of Fire.  They both want an arcing motion however they are both very high track players.  However, I have drilled for them in the past and if I put the pin down below the ring finger they both roll over the thumb hole.  With the pin there it's about 4-7/8 to 5" from their PAP.  If I keep the pin shorter and still put it low can I expect them to keep it off the thumb?  Or should I drill it aggressive like say 45x4x45 and see what happens.  If the pin is up and I keep within 5" they seem to throw ok.  Any suggestions.
