Title: Best drilling for a full roller?
Post by: Gene J Kanak on September 28, 2003, 08:36:12 PM
Hey everyone,

After the experiment of trying to get my wife to lift the ball properly has ended in complete and total failure, I'm considering a new path. She's decent at coming up the back of the ball, so I'm wondering, is there a drilling that I can use for her that will give her some arc? I'm not looking for her ball to start banking gutter to gutter. I just want something that is going to allow her to get a smooth, arcing reaction with this release. Is this possible? My wife comes right behind the ball (RH) and throws in the neighborhood of 10-12 mph. Any help would be appreciated.

Gene, that's not a full roller release.  A full roller releases ball in somewhat of a suitcase type manner tracking between her middle finger and thumb..........are you sure she's a full roller?

Jeff,

You're right, she's not quite that full. She keeps her hand behind the ball and tracks very close to her ring finger. Sorry for the bad description.
