Axis leverage vs leverage axis
« on: April 22, 2004, 10:29:10 PM »
I understand the concept of axis leverage but a friend recently mentioned leverage axis.

How do these differ? I don't deal with a lot of this anymore but I was curious.

I agree with Bracket Creep. But leverage axis and axis leverage are different- not the same.Axis leverage is pin on pap while the c.g is on the pap with pin in leverage position that is leverage axis. If you are not sure read Revolution and on page 82 to 86.This will explain the different between the two drilling.
I hate ten pins but love the game of bowling with just the right ball to take them out.

My understanding has been that the first word refers to the pin placement, and the second to the CG placement.  So "axis leverage" would be pin on axis with CG at or near the leverage point, and "leverage axis" the opposite.

Hope this helps.

oh, i see what your saying. Right over my head.

I've never heard the term leverage axis.  I've always heard and used axis leverage to mean pin at leverage and cg on axis.
