Ball traits for RICO Drilling
« on: September 17, 2015, 03:52:17 PM »
Have had RICO drillings on two balls in the passed, both with different levels of success.  A Hammer Blue Vibe which had little stronger move than the Storm Crossroad.

Looking to drill a newer ball with RICO and was looking for knowledge of what ball traits are best for the RICO Drilling.

weight blocks;  Asym. / Sym.   Coverstock:  Solid , Pearl, Hybrid ....    Ball type/land conditions:  Oil / Med / Dry.

Had in mind one of the following:  RG Unhinged and the Ebonite Gamebreaker 2 Gold both pearl coverstocks but need some input.

I've had a lot of success on a pretty wide variety of bowling balls from entry level to high performance. Like any ball I usually tweek the surface a bit and its good.

Currently my must have ball is a Strike King on this layout at 2000 siaair. It is great for medium to lighter oil. Its also a must when the lanes are just tough and I need a predictable reaction that keeps me out of trouble.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.
