Rico Drills in the age of "No Weight holes"
« on: January 01, 2022, 11:26:24 AM »
SO, does anyone know?

I just stumbled on an AMF The Heist Solid!  Drilled Old Rico with a Large weighthole that must be plugged to conform with current rules!   It is so smooth on my baked and bowled on house shot that my pin down short pin stacked and so called smooth balls were covering mucho boards very rapidly in the back making the shot seem so complicated and touchy!

While at the same time my newly found RICO drilled the Heist was covering fewer boards and doing it so smoothly it amazed onlookers and other bowlers and all of a sudden made the shot look so easy and readable the game became so easy to find the pocket with area and in addition had tremendous carry!

Are our Rico lovers finding these drillings are still performing well once the weighthole is filled?  Or are there some tweaks that can give the same smooth in to out performance this drilling is famous for just by filling the weight hole?

Or are there other work around steps one needs to do after filling the balance holes on an "old style" Rico with balance holes.

Also are their Other important new selection criteria ie Pin out distance, or Top Weights preferred, or slightly different Pin placements for the new RICO without weight hole drillings?

Thanks to any ballreviewers who have info on this Drilling and it's new "no weight hole" Version.

With your favorite asymmetric ball very much an option. On symmetric not so much
