FLARE INCREASING HOLE.

Where do you drill a flare increasing hole on a asymmetrical ball.  If I remember correct it is different that symmetrical balls...Doug

you can put a balance hole past your axis point or below your pap on your VAL. These two spots will help increase your flare potential.

Also a problem that sometimes occurs is the ball will flare very close to the potential balance hole location. a solution to this is placing the hole higher up but placing the hole on an angle, pitching it away from the center of grip. anywhere from 1 inch to 1 1/2 if a press will go that far can work to increase flare potential.

You can go closer to your grip, say 4" from the center, and get increased flare with asymmetrical balls.  This way there is little chance of rolling over it.  This does not work for symmetrical balls though.
