Measuring for a Pinky Hole
« on: September 06, 2004, 03:07:51 PM »
I was just aproached for the first time since I have been drilling to put a pinky hole in a ball for a customer.

What is the proper way to measure for such a grip? Do I measure for teh middle and ring, take the specs and then redo the fitting ball and have her use her ring and pinky instead?

Help me out here guys. Thanks.

I would say to measure there ring and middle first, then just lay there ring finger over the middle finger hole, and have them put there pinky in the ring finger hole.

Doug, I have a few of these players, if you have a jayhawk measuring ball just mearure as if it was the RF or MF. just make the Bridge from the ring hole to the Pinky hole a 1/2" wide. also the lateral Pitches on the Ring may have to be adjuster so that you do not "V" the two holes.
