Looking for layout advice
« on: February 08, 2008, 04:01:34 PM »

I have an older gent who purchased a BWP. This guy is medium spedd, but very low rev. his ball may make about 6 to 8 revolutions down the lane. We have a decent amount of oil with little backend. I had in mind something that will give him an early but smooth arc. Lower pin about 4x3 or so. Opinions?

I'm low rev, but not that low. The majority of my balls have the Pin under RF, under Bridge, etc. and in that area with the CG out or a ball with a MB, the MB 4" to 5" from my PAP depending on the strength of the Ball and MB and whether I want a weight hole or not. The Pin in the under fingers in some capacity helps low rev people to get the ball reving earlier.

Any reason a Rico drill would not work?

I'll have to wait til I check his pap before deciding what to do, but pin down sounds like it should be good. Rico, very good possibility, but i have seen a good number of bowlers roll over the fingers with this if they track high.
