why does this drill work for me
« on: October 14, 2004, 03:15:57 AM »
I have had this drill on a couple of balls and it really works great for me.

I am pretty dumb on drills so help me if you can.

The pin is directly under bridge and the cg is straight out right from midpoint of grip line (3-4 inch pin, cg from middle of grip is directly right, about 4:00 O clock in relation to pin.)  a wt hole is about 2 inches directly right of cg.

It gives me a nice steady midline read with a controlled strong arc.  seems to great for inside track lines.

anyone know a specific name for this drill?

Cause you are good!

This is a classic hook set or instant roll drill which takes out some of the flip of the core.  When others are thowing dramatic stikes intermixed with seemingly great or almost great looking 4 9s splits with there label leverage and stacked drillings  it is time to pull out this ball and watch it arc in to the pocket.
Let them whine and complain about there three unlucky splits the last two games and keep winning!

My baby my Crimson Red Sledgehammer is a 3 3/8 X 1 and when these strong backend conditions come up it is a winner!
