High Tracker
« on: June 11, 2003, 08:47:55 AM »
I have a teammate that is a high tracker.   His PAP is 6 3/4 over and 7/16 up.

He asked me about suggesting some patterns for him.
He throws the ball about 13-14 MPH as well. Not many revs at all.

What would you guys suggest for pin and CG placements for a 4 ball layout?

I told him to keep the pin above a line from the ring finger to the PAP.
He has 5 balls drilled 4x5, 4x6.

I think he needs some variety.

Thanks,

Snakes

snakes,
Moreso ..... on a line from pap to pin that finishes above the ring finger hole.

Yes,......whatever is favorite drill is,.....have 2 balls with that, (label), then have one stacked, 4x4, then have a arcing drill, or earlier roll drill, say 4x2.  Start off with 3 inch pins at least.  He could also get a 3-4 inch pin out ball and do a 2.5x5 as long as the pin and pap make a line that goes above the ring finger......

Ragnar has done experiments with these type drillings (he's a high tracker too) and he may chime in as well

...O.O
............p
...............pap
....CG
