inferno
« on: November 17, 2003, 12:54:31 AM »
i have a new 14 pound inferno.  i have med-low revs and above average speed.  and i am a stroker.  i need a drilling that can deal with my faster ball speeds on a 32 or so foot shot with 55-60 units head oil and 20 down the middle with a wall idk where it is.  i like to put the ball down around the first arrow on the left and swing it to around the second.  what layout might be good for me??

i release around 5-4 and throw to 2.  idk y i throw there.  i guess i bowl there cause not many ppl around here do.  i can easily throw down and in if i like 2 or i can move left and swing out some more on dry lanes.

my inferno has the pin placed next to and even with the bottom of my ring finger. the cg is swung just enough towards the center of my grip to avoid a balance hole. i get plenty of backend reaction with this layout. the factory finish on your inferno may or may not cause too much over/under. if it skids too much in the oil and hooks to hard on the dry try scuffing off the factory polish and smooth sanding the ball. try 1,000 or 2,000 grit sandpaper and see what happens. good luck !
