Balance Hole in Palm??

Doug Kent used a ball like that a few years back on T.V..  Randy stated that Doug was using a ball that "had the guts drilled out of it" to help control the reaction of the ball on the backends.

 I believe it was a blue/green Ebonite Warrior. I don't remember where the pin was on it though, I just remeber it because it was the only time I'd ever seen that.

Mo Pinel has a system called "Target Weighting". It puts the balance hole on the midline at varying distances from the center of the grip.It is supposed to put the relationship between top and side weight in the proper proportion.

In the old days, this used to be the only way to get the ball to "lay off" in the back end. By lay off, I mean forward roll at the break point.

We used to use holes in the center of the grip on pancake weight block balls, to take out top weight.  Get the ball to rev up faster, but would be smoother off the spot.
