layout for stroker question
« on: February 13, 2011, 12:48:37 PM »
What is a desirable layout for a straighter player looking for the best reaction on a flatter pattern?  Have always heard that pin up balls with surface for back end reaction, but why not a pin down for earlier roll?   Also, strong core vs. weaker?   Also, how about nationals?  something to get deep and still have enough reaction to carry the corners?   Thanks for the help !!

Please define "best reaction"?

some reaction=    skid, roll, hook      imstead of just skid,   and at nationals, a layout for length and an angular movement to carry the corners.  Have always got to the pocket, but the friction in the middle has the ball spent when it gets there.
