Title: label layout?

Have any of you ever put a label layout on a skid flip ball.

one of my favorites all time... label leverage.  still gets good length and a strong break point, but seems to tame down the backend a little.

I used Label Leverage exclusively for about 4 years.
It worked for my game. For the last year, I started trying different layouts.
Most of my best scoring was done with label leverage drills.

I only have 1 ball with a lbel layout (desert heat) and this ball is awesome.  Label layouts really do tame down the backend of the ball.  I like this when I get on lanes that have flying backends.  Now i'm not saying that this is the only layout for high flying backends but it does work great.  I also like pin under ring with cg kicked to 1oz no x-hole.  This also seems to be a powerful but controllable backend reaction type layout.

^^ It's taming down the backends because it is a Desert Heat.  Weaker resin cover and low flare potential is going to tame the backend no matter what drill you have in it.

Use label on a ball with a stronger shell and higher diff and you'll see how aggressive and sharp a label drilling can be, especially when backends are strong.

If the backends are high flying enough then any ball layout will be strong.  Label layouts do tame down high flying backends for me.  It reduces the flip for me and creates more of a arc.
