Title: Layout for Rev Dom & High Tack
Post by: HighRevvin on April 01, 2019, 06:09:47 PM
Hello All,

Been getting more educated on asymmetrical drillings lately and with that trying out more test layouts. Historically I've always leaned toward symmetrical stuff, long pin to pap, pin down, and if I ever used a weight hole I shifted the PSA to the right of the thumb.

Looking for a good fit for THS for Asymmetrical stuff. Typically I've defaulted to 50x5x70 which has works ok but after reading more of Mo Pinel's work I'm thinking I should probably be using a shorter pin to pap and more drill angle for a large sum. Possibly witching my ratios due to my track, as I'm far from a spinner.

Just looking for a good Asym layout for fresh. I feel I excel on drier more difficult conditions.

Bowler States:
PAP 5" right +3/4" up
Rev: 450ish
Speed: 16mph (at breakpoint)
Tilt: 10 degrees
Axis Rotation: 60 degrees (most comfortable)

More comfortable changing axis rotation to tune ball reaction than anything else.

I'm at 15 mph and 373 rpm, full roller, and I got a new setup from Mo on the Radical page. I have a new PSO that has been setting up more stuff for me that is working and keeps the track off my fingers with a little more angle on my finger holes. The asym layouts he used on mine (one handed 2 fingered) were 60x4x30 and 70x5x30

I like to use this as a general guide.
