Try 1/2 reverse on fingers just did this last weekend it gives you a ton of fingers in the ball with the standard t-grip it just falls off the hand faster. I did the other ball with a 1 1/4 clt and combined with the 1/2 reverse on finger pitches you will have more feel and gain a couple of revs. I am redoing most of my favorite balls with this layout now. Btw i bought a couple of sarge easter balls with my span and you have to hit the ball more if you are medium to low revs like i am, so i am redrilling these balls with the 1 1/4 clt and 1/2 reverse also. If you try a clt try about 1- 1 1/2 max on one ball i tried a 2" clt and the ball just felt too weird so for me 1 1/4 is right on but you will be different. Do not change span or thumb with the clt and 1/2 reverse unless you feel that it does not fit your game.
