Looking for good Pro Shop
« on: May 04, 2004, 09:17:29 PM »
I have just gotten back into bowling after about 5 yrs. off. My driller I used to use has retired I was told. I used to use Jack at the Concourse Bowl in Riverside, CA. I'm looking for a new person in the Inland Empire in So. California. I live in Victorville, CA but I'm willing to travel to get a guy that takes the time to get to know me and takes pride in the job they do. I'm somewhat at a lose when I read some of the posts here because I don't understand all of the terms but I know what I like in a ball reaction. I'm looking to have my NIB Storm XXX drilled it's 16# 2.60 top weight and a 4-4.5 pin. Can anyone give me some shops that know their STUFF.
Thanks

My driller is awesome but it is in henderson, nevada so probably to far 2 1/2 hours, he also drills for Eric Forkel, wendy macpherson, dave wodka he was taught by Ron Hoppe and takes time to get everything right on the first time. His name is Jon Burroughs from sunset lanes the phone number is 702-736-2695 if you wish to have your ball done right everytime -barry

I'm not sure how far you want to travel, but in the San Fernando Valley there are several.  I go to Eddie Williams at the Perfect Game in Corbin Bowl in Tarzana.  He ahs been drilling all my equipment for the past several years and I won't go to anyone else.

I have also used Rusty Bryant at the Pro Zone in Mission Hills Bowl in Mission Hills.  There is also a Sharon Kapsimalis (sp?) who I have personally not used, but have heard is excellent.  For now she is in Pinz, formerly known as Sports Center Bowl in Studio City.
