Just got a Black Ops from 900 Global through the PBA member rate, and it came with a 5 1/4 pin to CG distance, putting the CG 1 1/2 from the mass bias marker. I've never drilled a ball with this much room between the pin and CG. Any ideas on how best to lay this one out, or should I look into seeing if they will exchange it? Thanks for the advice and ideas.

The ball flares a ton so you have to watch out if you put a hole on your axis... Suggestion for drilling would be "rev leverage" as it was called but it's basically 55 x 6 (or 5) x 30 (to 40)... you'll be putting a hole in the p2 to p3 range so you can get the excess weight out.... You're going to love the backend w/ that though.... wow ;)

Medichal, if you do a 2" pin to pap i would suggest in the 90 to 135 drill angle range..

Thanks Bradley, I definitely didn't want to touch it until I got some better opinions about it, I did have a Columbia Pit Boss that I found on the house ball rack a long time ago that had a very long pin distance like this, and had it drilled, and I remember that ball got around the corner like crazy too. Looking forward to seeing how it works out.
