I AM A HIGH TRACKER.MY TRACK GOES ABOUT 1/2IN TO THE LEFT OF MY FINGERS AND SOMETIMES OVER MY THUMB.MY QUESTION IS AT ONE PRO SHOP MY PAP WAS CHECKED AND I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS 5 7/8 RIGHT AND 1/2 UP.THAT SHOP WENT UNDER AND I AM BUYING A CELL FROM ANOTHER AND THE DRILLER THERE SAID MY PAP WAS 4 1/2 RIGHT AND 1/2 DOWN.I GUESS HE GOT THE TRACK OFF OF MY LEV-RG.WHICH ONE SOUNDS RIGHT,OR DOES IT NOT MATTER?

It matters a lot....by where you're describing it to be, it is highly unlikely that your PAP is 4 and 1/2 over....it is probably closer to the first coordinate.  Did either actually watch you throw balls or look at oil rings?

I agree with Russell. That sounds like a big discrepancy between the two. I would definitely double check it & get it right before drilling the new ball.
Close to fingers & thumb does sound like more than a 4 1/2" pap for sure.

Yes,I know at the first shop they used a high polished saturn.

close to the fingers and thumb should be over 5 inches
