Tips For Gluing Rubber Finger Inserts
« on: February 25, 2004, 02:34:15 AM »
After the Helpful thread on gluing thumb inserts...How about the finger inserts?....The trouble I have when I use a large reverse pitch is keeping the back of the insert level with the rim of the hole....when installing normal inserts I can push the back down & then Glue it.....When using Vacu inserts where you only glue the front part I have trouble getting a neat installation...I usually trim the excess with a razor....any tips on vacu inserts would be appreciated.

No Fear -- I haven't done any vacu inserts, so this might not work.  Could you put a small drop of glue in the bottom of the back side of the hole, then push the back of the insert down into the glue?  --  JohnP
