Title: pithes with IT system...
Post by: xrayjay on August 31, 2016, 11:27:37 AM
Just wondering, when doing the IT system, where are the pitches added? to the pilot hole, or thumb it, or both?

I have 1/8 forward and left (righty) in my pitches and a friend gave me his ball and it has 5/8 reverse and a right pitch... I placed my thumb it into his ball and it locked securely and was easily removed. not tight nor loose. but I don't want to risk it.

Pitch is drilled into the pilot hole.  Your inner will fit into his ball but the top of your slug won't be flush with the ball all the way around the hole.

I have my pitches put in the slug so that if they need to change i don't have to plug 9 balls. Unless you have extreme pitches that don't make that possible I think it's the best way to go.
