Could have been drilled for a bowler with a missing middle finger.  By the way, the ball was an overseas release.

I know a guy who has a grip like that. He bowls with his index and ring finger due to an injury to the middle finger.

It doesn't look that bad, I bet it's about 1/2 an inch.  The longer ring span makes the visual a little funny.  I would rather have it like that, than have the fingers on top of each other and the bridge breaking out.

I had a customer like this, had to drill for index and ring finger.  The poor guy had severe arthritis in his middle finger.  This isn't a Kmart ball so I would like to "assume" it was intentional.

I know of a guy who drilled all the balls with a huge bridge (not sure why) regardless of the hand going into the ball. Some of his female customers came to us because it was causing some pain issues with their fingers and hand.

I'm pretty sure I know this seller, Bill Fong.  If it's the same guy, he can drill pretty well, those bridges are big on purpose and are probably all the same person.  Bill used to work for Tom Wicker, don't know if he still does.  Probably a reputable seller.  I'd buy from him.

Almost looks like a reverse Sarge Easter. Maybe the middle finger is conventional.
