Just purchased a Radical Xeno Solid which I understand is very much like the Reax Version2 ball.
Anyway, I read in the Radical reviews where one bowler had drilled his REAX-2 with a motion-hole layout and seemed to like the results. This is the only time I've heard of this combination and would like some feedback because I'm interested in doing this on the Xeno Solid.
Anyone else have success with a motion-hole in an asym ball?

The last thing I saw the motion hole wasn't recommended for asymmetrically cored balls. It's because the shape of asymmetrical cores varies so much that the modification created by the motion hole may not produce the desired result. -- JohnP

JohnP,
I had the same understanding about motion-holes in asym balls.
Meanwhile, I did read a post by a second bowler who said he was going to or had motion-holed a REAX-2 asym ball. However, I have not seen any followup details.
I guess it's mainly a matter of higher risk the balance hole won't work coupled with higher risk plugging won't salvage the ball.
Still hoping to hear from anyone, good or bad, who might have taken the risk.
thx,

In the cores with the scoop technology, you can do it, I believe. That's what they're meant for. Or I may be wrong.
