My home pro shop

I copied someone else.  Thanks to EFFEN 10 I have my home pro shop setup.  http://s65.photobucket.com/user/Brandon_Skwira/media/drillpress_zps9e7c773c.jpg.html

My question is when I crank the x and y, how do I know when I reach say 1/4" reverse or 1/4" right for the pitch?  I'm not even sure what those numbers represent on the mill table.

If I remember this correctly, a move of a 1/4 inch represents 1/4 pitch. So if you move the jig 1/4 to the right and 1/4 forward, shift the ball to align with the drill, you will have 1/4 right lateral pitch and 1/4 reverse.

The question was asked about pitch and the answer was given about weight.  Oy.

First thing you need to do is center the jig.  Then you move the table to get the desired pitch.

I just corrected my response.  I should have said pitch instead of weight. Weight is accomplished by finding 0 0 on you scale and moving the center right left up or down to get the proper weight.  This is not done on the jig but on the bench using a scale.
