Drilling Question

What's the rule of thumb for top weight for a 5 in pinned symmetrical ball if you want to "double thumb" it? Lower than average so you will have excess finger to work with? I don't drill for a living so have some mercy on me here! LOL

long pins with low top weights(under 3 oz.) are the easiest to DT
