What do you want the ball to do? With the short pin and rather low TW, you can do almost anything with it...

my specs they are a changing
my track is lower than before, my speed and revs are up from before.
i have not remeasured my pap since im still working on my release.

if i had to guess my new pap is in the neighborhood of 4-1/2 - 4-3/4 and probably a little up 1/4 to 1/2

speed 17-18 , and revs 350-400
30-45 degrees of axis tilt

that's the best i can do for now, but these are pretty close

Then comes Dizzy's question again: What do you want it to do?

With that PAP, you do not have to worry about clipping holes, thus you have many options in terms of pin placement.

agreed natal** ( will miss holes w/ new pap ), sorry i missed the other question
what i really want is a ball that will go 300 every time..........lol

i like a smooth arc, not jerky uncontrollable reaction.

im pretty much down and in, not a big hooker, generally don't get inside 3rd arrow

lay it down on 13-15 swing it to 5 ish is my preferred line, but when that is not working i'll go straight up w/ little / no swing

Then I'd go either with a label setup (CG in palm, pin just to the side and under the fingers where it is safe for the finger holes) or a stacked setup under the fingers - or you might even swing the CG out to 45°, which might warrant a small balance hole but add some smoothness. I guess the differences will be minimal, though.

hey dizz would you recommend me punching the pin out w/ my ring finger hole, and keeping the cg in a label oriented position ?

or would you just catch a little bit of the pin in the ring ?

To avoid cracking problems, if you're going to drill close to the pin drill it all out.  --  JohnP

thanks John
I still havn't decided on how to drill this puppy
but my best guess after having bowled on friday is to keep the pin in line or above ring finger, and stack the cg right below it.

im getting a much cleaner release now, and based on my old PAP it is catching my thumb

so it looks like my pap has actually gotten higher
