pro cg drillings?
« on: January 09, 2008, 06:48:13 AM »
Im looking for info on drilling a storm passion with a pro cg pin

the cg is kicked left about 3 1/2(so mb is right) inches

anyone have a place on net that list the drilling(cant seem to find much)

its has a longer pin also(i think its about 4 ")

You drilling it for a righty or a lefty?  That's pretty far to the left, but if you're drilling it for a righty you can go with a pretty small PAP-pin-MB angle and not need a weight hole.  What's the top weight on it?  Have you confirmed the CG placement?

its for me

a righty

top was less than 3(im at work), its 2.8 i think

i know i could put pin at about 5.5 inches above my fingers and kicked mb out towards val(which would put cg almost in center of grip)

BUT

I thought i saw a drilling sheet for these somewhere and cant find it(or remember where i saw it)

i thoguht it had MB in strong postition and cg left of center of grip and inch or so(which would still give it static less than an ounce)

You could also go with a short pin distance, keeping it lower and putting the MB back towards the thumb.  That pro-CG will keep the CG closer to the grip center.

Gut instinct would be to go with whatever normal pin-to-PAP distance you want, then swing the MB towards or past the VAL.  That's the usual thing to do with a ball like that.
