Title: Storm Optimus layout?
Post by: jdkstrejcek on February 06, 2016, 05:16:28 PM
Hello, i have a little question.

What layout you recommend for Optimus?

I'm right hand two hander with 17mph avg. speed and 420 rpm.
Ussualy i bowl on 38ft house pattern.

Idk but i think that my layout right now is...Idk..

I wanted try pin above the bridge and CG kick a little bit to right and my dealer said me.."this is good" but i think that isnt...

If i throw ball and try hit the breakpoint ball goes somewhere... Sometimes hook early (hit pins from left side), sometimes hood a little bit and leaves 2,4,7...

Everytime Optimus doing what he want..I called him "woman" because hes doing what he want and his moody...

If i throw him on straight line he hook absolutly perfect and hit pocket like a truck but if i wanna curve him a little bit and try hit a breakpoint hes going everywhere like i said before...

Have you got any good idea and solutions? Should i redrilled him to another layout  or what you think? I throw him bad or this layout is not to good for my style?

Thank you for advice!

Try a Motion hole on that ball. I did the same drilling(same ball) with a Mo hole and it gave me 4 boards more on the backend. Its a mid lane rolling machine !!

Make sure to ck static weights before the weight hole placement
