Experiment with Bridge Width

It seems most bowlers like their bridge width as narrow as possible.  Why is that, is it primarily comfort.  What happens to ball roll if the bridge width is spread out, say to 1".  Seems like it could increase axis rotation and decrease axis tilt.

Anybody tried it??

The wider the bridge the more the fingers will toe-in towards each other. This can cause the need to slightly cant turbo lift inserts in toward the thumb it can also slightly change the span to the individual fingers.

This usually doesn''t become an issue unless one is changing the width from what they have been using.

If comfort and release are still okay it should put more of your hand in contact with the ball.

Your ball driller should be aware that the fingers will require special attention on the pitch of each hole.
