In what view when you say left side of your thumb nail? just want to get a better picture. And just pain in nail area, not even a bit close to your thumb nuckle?

I think xxzone is having the same problem as I do... If I watch my right hand thumb looking at the nail with the thumb pointing up, I have a horrible callous-blister at the left side.... I went to similar rev and left pitches for thumb. Now what I would like to know is what are typical pitches for right handed? I know reverse will provide a cleaner release (as long as you don't squeeze ball), but lateral? Thanks.

xxZone, hope this helps: every Friday I go to practice (1 hour shadow bowling and 4-6 games). Last Friday by the end of game 1 my thumb blister was broken and really hurting. Today I decided to change the pitch in my RedZone to 1/8 right and 0 rev (thanks deadmoney for advice) and there you go: No problem at all.
deadmoney: I think it took me like 30 to 40 drillings to find this, thanks again for advice.
