Ok, off to the shop i go again, this time with the Triton Heat, looking for a strongish roll/arc look and thinking of a 2x2 or 2.5x2.5 layout(say with the hole an inch past pap to make it hit a little better)its been plugged twice(drilled back over the 1st layout) so it should have a fairly low starting top when i plug it up again. Sounds like a good solution to me for snappy house shots and sport patterns, dont mind giving the ball a tweak but not an out and out cranker, i guess around 45degree tilt if that helps too.

Actually Mongo i've had a low pin on this ball before(about 2" from PAP, excpet it was at 1.30 from the cg) and you could see the ball 'lay down' with the pin migrating to the axis pretty quickly, actually the better i hit it the better it reacted, if i tried to go up the back of it it just didn't have the strength to turn the corner, i'll probably take the surface up to 2000 to help it down the lane a little. I know the reaction might look a little 'flat' but it'll get rid of a couple of overlaps in my arsenal overnight. I let you know how it goes.

After the weekend the Heat is staying like it is, the Elite Pearl will get this layout now.
