I believe you are talking about Jerry Francomano. At Texas Station.

In my oppinion you can't do better than Jon Burroughs at Sunset Lanes in Henderson NV. He is a hand fitting guru, and solved the problem of my thumb slipping in the hole at the start of my back swing and regripping the ball at the top of my back swing. He has all of the latest equipment and is not handcuffed by the bowling center, meaning he can turn on a lane and watch you throw the ball and fit your hand accordingly.

I hear Paul Rentaria is also good, but he has been away each time I was there.

Sunset drilled a ball for me. I don't remember who actually punched it - it might have been Paul.
Never had a problem with it.
Jerry Francomano is the bowling center general manager now. Does he still drill equipment?
Because he is certainly the bowling ball knowledge guru!

I think you are right, I don't think Jerry drills much anymore, unless by special appointment, that is why I suggested Sunset. If the guy that drilled your ball, was a younger college aged guy around 5'9" tall around 140lbs that is Jon if the guy was over 35 and medium build that was Paul and if he was older and bigger yet that was Wally the owner, no offence to any of the above.

It may have been Wally - I was attending the Ritger advanced clinic, so I wasn't standing around as it was drilled.
It was either Jon or Wally, since the ball I bought had 3 games put on it by Paul before he sold it for a steal - and I know he wasn't there at the time.

I mentioned that the TOP driller in Vegas was Lynn DeCamp, at Sams Town.  He was the one I would rive 2 hours for his expertise.  He is more knowledgable, and his prices are the best.

I still get all my equipment drilled at Texas Station ,because Jerry is the most knowledgeable and will help you with layouts and ball recommendations. Brian does the drilling and he is also very knowledgeable. If you go over there  in the afternoon , you have a good chance to see Jerry, otherwise call and make a appointment.
