What drill will this give me???

I Just found my true PAP yesterday 4 1/4 by 1 1/2 up. I'm a lefty throw between 16-17. My ball driller recommended this drill pattern on my Cell. Just wanted to see what you guys think of the drill. It looks something like the drill Mike Scroggins had on his Cell. Thanks for any info. if you are a lefty that would put the pin around 4.5".

That drill should still be aggressive and smooth rolling. depending on your rev rate will determine how much oil it will handle. The cell is a strong piece but is versatile and easily manipulated with hand positions.

That layout should handle a decent amount of oil whether you have low of high revs.

It would seem to be smooth with all the backend provided by your rotation and/or tilt. If that is the MB, moved all the way to your VAL, then that will help balance your delivery tilt.

But why are you asking this? Didn't your driller tell you all this and why he drilled it or will drill it this way?

FYI your PAP is only one part of why he drilled it that way. I'm assuming you have a lot of tilt or a lot of ball speed. Otherwise, that MB position will make for a very small and early backend.

I could be wrong but that's what that loks like to me.

                                                                                 He's suggested this way because of my tilt and yes that is the MB near my VAL. He explained it to me but I was thinking of getting another ball where the MB is not kicked out that far also the pin is 1.5-2 didn't know if that made a difference. I was looking for a strong roll for heavy oil but save some punch for the back.

It's hard to tell; that's why your driller is always the first one you should consult, not anyone here. People here can always be a backup or if you have no confidence in your driller. Most times, it's very difficult to diagnose these things by "remote control".

FYI the Cell is not a heavy oil ball unless you change the surface to a duller/lower grit level or have very high revs. Your drill should roll early. Make sure you use it on enough oil.

Thanks for the info. I do have confidence in him he is very technical which I love. This was his first Cell that he had punched up. I just wanted you guys to check it out and get some feed back. some of you guys got expert advice as well. by the way I have low revs I'm a lefty we don't need them..
