Title: tpc layouts
Post by: louie on August 25, 2004, 12:40:00 PM
I just ordered a Shooter xl. I want length with a smooth backend. I was going to put the pin above the fingers which is over 5 inches from my pap. What will give a smoother backend?  PSA in the track or PSA on the val.
Thanx

Any input from anyone who has drilled some of these tpc cores?

Make sure to read BrianN's review of the Shooter.  Excellent as always.  I'm sure you could message him for any clarifications.  I don't know how much weaker the XL's cover is though.

I have a tpc player drilled pin under ring cg in palm and psa Under the thumb, gets great length and smooth as silk on the backend.

Thanks for the info. I like the idea of a 135*  psa with a 5.5 inch pin to PAP. I'm just curious how the 0 degree would roll.

The TPC Player core is different from any other MB marked ball, this has the habit to react differently to MB placements, placing your MB in your thumb makes the ball roll earlier compared to Placing it on your Val, placing the MB on your val will give you a lot of length and smoother recovery.
